There are many good wedding planner sites which can help you. My advice is:
Plan Early- You don't want to be disappointed with your date, location, important people to be there, officiant, etc. I know of a couple who booked their details 18 months ahead of time. They weren't disappointed with anything.
Plan Your Budget- Weddings can cost a lot money. The earlier you plan the cheaper things will be. Talk to your fiance and parents as to their involvement in helping with the costs. If you have your wedding during the week, often photographers, caterers, officiants, floral shops offer cheaper deals.
Keep it Simple- the smaller the wedding , the cheaper it'll be. If you want to have a small wedding at a golf course, in the mountains, etc ....do it.
